2. Antisamos Beach Kefalonia
Without a doubt, Antisamos Kefalonia has to be in this list of Kefalonia beaches. If you’re looking where to stay in Kefalonia, we recommend giving the north east of the island a try. Located in Sami, Antisamos gets our vote for being one of the best family beaches in Kefalonia. Surrounded by contrasting greenery and turquoise waters, there’s no wonder Antisamos is one of the best beaches in Kefalonia. If it was good enough for the set of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin, then it gets a definite thumbs up from us.

3. Skala Beach Kefalonia
Do you have children or a small family? Skala is home to the what local hotels call “the best family beaches in Kefalonia”. Lined with beautiful white pebbles Kefalonia is so famous for, Skala beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag due to the fact it’s so clean. However, if you’re looking for the secluded beaches Kefalonia has to offer, Skala gets rather busy. Especially in summer months.

4. Foki Beach Fiscardo Kefalonia
Imagine yourself being transported to the set of a Robinson Crusoe book, Foki is the place to imagine it. Found just outside of Fiscardo town, Foki is one of the best quiet beaches in Kefalonia. Arguably one of the best beaches in Kefalonia, Foki beach is all but a small strip of pebbles, overlooking calm, crystal clear waters. If the Greek heat becomes too much, hide under one of the many olive trees whilst you pinch yourself (no, you’re not dreaming).

Heading south now, Agios Thomas beach Kefalonia should be in your list of secluded beaches Kefalonia has to offer. Just a 15 minute drive from Argostoli, Agios Thomas is one of the best sandy beaches in Kefalonia. If sand isn’t your thing, you’ll find a great sunbathing spot on the rocks to the right of the beach. Enjoy lunch at one of the family run tavernas just above the beach.

Without a shadow of doubt, Dafnoudi has to be one of the best beaches in Kefalonia. 10. Kato Lagadi Beach Kefalonia
One of the best sandy beaches in Kefalonia, Kato Lagadi offers beach lovers a moment of paradise. Found close to the resort of Limenia, Kato Lagadi is accessible through a steep path from the top of the road. We recommend avoid visiting during peak times as you may be able to have this hidden bay all to yourself.

11. Pessada Beach Kefalonia
Travelling just 12km east of Argostoli, Pessada beach has to be on your list as it is one of the best beaches in Kefalonia and one of the best beaches in Greece (in our opinion). Leave the car at the top of the road and take a path down to this hidden cove. However, due to its small size, Pessada beach can become busy during peak times. Swim to the right of this paradise and you’ll find a second cove. A great place to find the secluded beaches Kefalonia is so famous for.
