Best Drone for Travelling
DJI Mavic Pro Drone – The best drone for travelling
Number one on our list has to be the DJI Mavic Pro –
The DJI Mavic Pro is a small yet powerful drone that turns the sky into your creative canvas easily and without worry, helping you make every moment an aerial moment. Its compact size hides a high degree of complexity that makes it one of DJI’s most sophisticated flying cameras ever. 24...
I wanted the drone to add some more adventurous images and video to my YouTube channel. This drone with its portable, collapsible nature was ideal for putting in my camera backpack. Beginner flight mode is useful, however the tripod flight mode is better allowing you to fly both higher and farther with lots more control. All the flight modes are impressive as well as the fully automated take off and landing. Camera stills and video clips are very impressive - including the 4K modes. All options are fully customisable if you want the ultimate quality.Battery life under normal conditions gives about 20 mins flight time. Always leave enough for the return to home mode and don't ignore the battery low warning - if you don't want to loose your drone.
A great drone. The image is not as good as the phantom 4 but its portability and the ease of flying is perfect for a filmaker like me. It is a great little drone and you can carry it in a bag with your other kit. Which is great as you can easily carry it anywhere. Great piece of kit.
If this product to had 10 stars it would get it. Not o my is it fun to fly, but it's a serious piece of kit. Able to film at 4k 30 FPS and take stills upto 12mp. As well as obstacle avoidance, GPS,glosnass and sonarr. Great drone.

This is brilliant as a flying machine. It's so stable, you can let go of the controls and it will hover over a spot even in a breeze whilst you concentrate on taking quality video and photographs. However I have just requested a replacement after two weeks of use due to a known defect. The DJI Go display is illuminated red and displaying "no signal" and it is not possible to get the bird's eye view on your device display so you can't line up your photos and videos and tap the screen to set the exposure for your main subject.I have searched the various forums including the DJI one and nobody seems to know of a fix for this commonplace problem. It appears to be a camera hardware issue or a software bug. It happened to me soon after updating the aircraft and controller firmware from the DJI website. Google "Phantom 3 red no signal" without the quotes to see the discussion on this. It still flies perfectly but you can see nothing on the screen. When I receive the replacement I will not be upgrading the firmware until I read that this issue is recognised by DJI and has been fixed. My loved and cared for original will sadly be sent back to Amazon.
Great drone, features and camera BUT if you want to fly it then beware the product I received from Amazon / Monkey & Orange had no UK plug/cable and all instructions were in Chinese even though assured by the seller it was UK spec.
An absolutely amazing product.

This is a great flying little quad, although it has been fairly windy since this has been delivered I have still enjoyed it, it does fair in light wind but it is a very light little machine and a gust of wind will pick it up and carry it away fairly quickly, It's a tough little bird though, I hung it up in a tree yesterday and instead of freaking out I looked and saw how it was hooked to the tree then I flew it right off the branch fairly easily, then instead of getting hung up even further up the tree I let it fall the rest of the way down, it smacked just about every branch on the way down and really don't even have a scratch on it.
Drones have received a lot of media attention in the last few months and it left me wishing I had one myself. Unlike some other people I have very little desire to fly one onto the lawn of the White House. However, flying it over my own house and neighborhood seemed like a great way to get a bird's eye view of what is already so familiar to me on the ground. While google maps gives you a glimpse, it is not nearly as detailed as I would like.
i think this is a great quad. it fly''s nicely, durable (i've crashed multiple times into concrete and its fine) camera is not the best but it's good for far away pictures. haven't really had the weather to test it outside but inside its great.

This product seems to get some unfair reviews, as do many drones. Many of the bad reviews mentioning flyaways are due to user error, so don't let them put you off. I have found it to be reliable and maintain a stable connection at all times. You do need to be aware of your mobile Wifi interfering with the controller Wifi, so make sure you turn it off. It is portable, nippy, and easy to control. The video quality is fairly good in sunlight, and you can capture decent pics either directly, or when you get back home by grabbing them from the video. Worth investing in the flight plan in-app purchase. This provides a great way of getting steady video footage and it has been really reliable in following the route and coming back.I also really like the fact that batteries and replacement parts are much cheaper than other drones, and appear to be easily installed, although thankfully no repairs for me yet.Overall thoroughly recommend for its portability and fun factor, and less of a toy grade drone than you might expect.
Absolutely fantastic fun! Bought for my son for Christmas and with his controller capabilities has been able to operate it right off the bat. Including flips and backflying etc etc. The camera footage is superb!
it s great hoping for good weather
DJI CP.PT.000167 Phantom 3 Standard Drone, DJI
Enter your model number above to make sure this fits.; Easy to Fly: An intelligent flight system automatically keeps your Phantom 3 Standard in the air and under your control.; Amazing Images: Take stunning 2.7K HD videos and 12 Megapixel photos with the integrated aerial camera.; Stable Footage:...
When I was a wee lad messing about with RC cars, I used to look wistfully at the fat bearded men with their petrol powered 8 channel RC aircraft and drool. Their hobby must have cost them thousands of pounds. Only a few years ago, the tech inside the Phantom 3 would have been science fiction.I've wanted a quadcopter for some time but waited until now as I saw that the technology was improving rapidly and that prices were falling. The new DJI Mavic Pro is tantalising but at around £1k is not exactly cheap for something that could be instantly demolished in the slip of joystick."Standard" sounds dull and unexciting, it is anything but. The main difference with the more expensive models is the video resolution (2.7k vs 4k) and the control range. For me the 2.7k video quality is excellent and the result depends more on your skill in manipulating the drone and settings while filming. The photo quality will also shame anything out of an iPhone. I've flown my P3 standard at up to 120m altitude and 250m out and the control signal has been solid. To fly significantly further out than this would be reckless as it is barely a speck in the sky and would also be illegal in the UK. Therefore the extra range you get with the Pro and Advanced is redundant in the UK unless you are a licensed UAV operator and have special dispensation from the CAA (which is unlikely to be granted). The standard does get an extra minute or two of flying time due to reduced weight and power consumption vs the other P3 models. My tips and suggestions:1. Get the genuine DJI propeller guards, they cost £15 but will more than pay for themselves. I snapped a propeller on second day of flying and your drone has a far better chance of surviving collisions.Read more ›
Love it!!! So easy to use and setup, the camera quality is AMAZING too!If your looking for your first drone then look no further.
Bought this as a Christmas present from my mum to my dad and it is amazing. The camera quality is fantastic and my dad said it is very user friendly. Had great fun using it on boxing day. One small fault was that the SD card is quite difficult to get out.
GoolRC Hubsan H501S X4 1080P HD Camera RC Drone with GPS Follow Me CF Mode Automatic Return Function, Hubsan
1Hubsan x4 501s is an X4 configuration quadcopter with integrated 1080p video camera and included 4.3" FPV transmitter (radio controller). The flight controller has integrated GPS, enabling advanced autonomous features, such as follow me and automatic return. It is powered by four brushless...
This quadcopter is AMAZING!!Buy it now, you won't regret it.I had a nano q4 and the blades were constantly popping off, getting lost and broken & the replacement blades were so expensive. The X4 is bigger, more durable, more stable in flight, more fun, and the blades don't pop off when you crash. They do get damaged eventually (if you crash a lot like me) but the blades are so cheap it's not an issue.I also reccommend the 6pcs x4 battery with charger £19 from amazon then you can just keep swapping batteries out and never run out of charge (by the time you've used all 7 batts, your first will be ready, and so on)!!I LOVE this quad copter, Hubsan have made something really good here, so much fun and satisfaction.it's already given me the costs worth of fun in just 5 days.
This is the 2nd one I've bought as my first one took alot of hammering while learning to fly it.I bought the latest version which is the 107l with blue and red LEDs for orientation with spare batteries, props and prop guard which is a must as the blades can be fragile but don't let this put you off as they are cheap to buy and essential. After pairing this to the included controller I was pleased to find that husband had refined the x4 handling and it buzzes about like an angry wasp with precision in expert and beginners mode. I find the stunts are easily executed with manual controls as they haven't included one button controls and hence find it easier than having to move your hands from the sticks which can cause you to loose control with some other models. The speed of the quad in expert mode can be daunting at first but once you get the hang of it you can manouver the quad in tight spaces with ease!Flight time is short if your constantly flipping the quad around but you can get around 8 mins out of the small battery so buying spares is a must!It handles light to moderate wind conditions well with little drift due to the thrust to weight ratio provided by the 4 motors. In the area that I live in it's pretty windy most of the time so I'm glad i don't have to worry too much and fly in these conditions. The x4 is best demonstrated outside with loads of space as it does have quite a bit of range despite its size. The only gripe I have is that sometimes the quad can get unstable if you try to input quick, multiple control requests after a flip but apart from that it is a really stable toy.
Its an excellent drone and I have the 107c model. Soon as I got everything connected up I knew there was something wrong with it. It didn't sound like my other model when I started up the props, it sounded tinny and it had a very high pitched noise coming from it as soon as I connected the battery up, went to take off and only 3 props were spinning, didn't want t go anywhere. I didn't risk fiddling with it so sent it straight back. This is my first negative experience with a hubsan product, may have been handled badly when in transit who knows??
UPair One Drone with 2.7K HD Camera, 5.8G FPV Monitor Transmit Live Video, 2.4G Remote Controller, GPS Auto Return Function, a key to Return, Beginners Quadcopter Drone, UPair
"UPair one" is a special drone brand created by GTEN INNOVATION.Parameters: Brand name: UPair Version: Upair One 2.7K Total Weight: 1350g Wheelbase: 355mm Max flying distance: 1000m Max video transmission height:600m Propeller: 9450 Motors: 2212 Intelligent Flight Battery: 3S LiPo, 5400 mAh...
I have had my upair one 2.7k for about 6 weeks and have used it about 5 times and I must say I am impressed by the way it preforms however there are a few little things that in my opinion let it down. so before I get on to the good points I will list the not so good. The first of the bad points is that when you receive your upair one it comes with very basic instructions which are not adequate for a fairly complex air vehicle. there is also not a web site so if you do have a problem you have to contact GT drones who in all fairness will contact you back in a short time but they really do need to have a web site. This is my second upair one the first one which was a 4K version which I sent back the same day as I had received it, as it would not pick up any satellites, as I could find no information on how to resolve the problem I sent it back. I had an email the next day from GT drones asking why I had returned the drone they pointed out that I should have contacted them first and offered me a discount if I wanted to try again so I decided to try the 2.7K version as it is cheaper. My next point is the flight battery which is of the smart type which as far as I can see just means that the balance charger is built in and if you press the button it tells you how much charge it has in it which is a bit pointless as you should always fully charge your battery before each flight. The advertised flight time is 18 mins but I am only getting about 10 mins before the return to home function activates I contacted GT drones about this but they just said that the flight time was dependent on the way the drone was used.As the battery for this drone is about £80 I will be moding mine to use a normal lipo battery which cost about £30 and see if the flight time improves.Read more ›
This is the first drone I have purchased and I like it. I choose it because it has a good set of features for the price. I was pleased with the build quality. Having the video screen with its OSD on the transmitter unit is very convenient and I prefer this to using a separate smart phone. The user manual could be better and I suggest Googling the different flight modes to get a better understanding of what they do. It took me a while to realize IOC mode is actually "Headless" mode which led to some interesting flying.I had to contact GTEN's after sales service department to get a spare part following a crash and they are really helpful.
This for me has to be the best drone for the price. Packed with features including two fail safe return to home. Accurate GPS positioning. In my opinion its impossible to lose this drone. Must have for beginners and professionals alike.
